PRSA Sunshine District is assembling a Florida based speaker bureau as a resource to our chapters. This bureau is open to both PRSA members and area experts in professional development topics. Things to keep in mind:
- This bureau will be updated and sent to our members on a quarterly basis. It will put your name in front of the programs committee chairs and chapter presidents, but does not guarantee a speaking opportunity.
- Our mission at PRSA is to Advance the Profession and the Professional, so make your topic valuable and relevant to our members.
- Preference may be given to PRSA members… if you want preferential treatment, click here to learn about the value of a PRSA membership.
- Many of our chapters are working with limited speaker budgets, but if you are already traveling through Florida… PR people usually know where to get a good hotel room comp’d. If you really want to connect with PR people, you might need to reduce your speaker fee or be open to a profit sharing arrangement.
