Through conversations with her husband, they recognized that businesses often don’t know what they don’t know. Miller’s insight? Every business has a product—whether a podcast, coaching service, or physical product—and can use product management principles to launch further.

The founder risk pillar emerged from personal experience. Miller realized she had built teams and organizations at the expense of her own sanity and well-being. “A business is not going to succeed if the founder has burnout.”

Miller created PDRM Consulting to maintain quality of life while her youngest child finished high school. She emphasizes that boundaries change throughout the year. As a band mom, she works more in summer during band camp but reduces workload in September and October.

Her approach focuses on strategic planning with guide rails, creating frameworks that help teams make decisions without constantly asking questions.

Miller differentiates herself from traditional coaches by working fractionally with clients to solve problems directly.

The cybersecurity pillar is handled by her husband, with their daughter developing PDRM Protect, a vulnerability management tool for small businesses launching in Q1 2026.
