A clean manufacturing start-up wants to plant itself in Immokalee.
The company, called ArborX, has a site for its headquarters under contract in the town, known for its agricultural roots.
The new company’s mission: To turn woody waste into valuable biochar, reducing the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere – while creating sought-after carbon credits.
