Naples Concierge Health invites the community to a complimentary virtual event, “Advanced Cancer Prevention,” led by Dr. Jonathan Marsh on Tuesday, July 15 at 10:00 AM. This 45-minute webinar is designed to educate and empower individuals with the most up-to-date, science-backed strategies for cancer prevention and early detection.
Dr. Marsh will begin by offering a deep understanding of the latest recommendations for standard cancer screenings, including age-based and risk-based guidelines for detecting common cancers such as breast, colon, cervical, prostate, and lung cancer. He will clarify when and how often people should be screened, based on evolving medical evidence, family history, and personal health profiles—ensuring patients are equipped to make informed decisions about their health.
Dr. Marsh will highlight the growing role of whole-body imaging, such as full-body MRI scans, which allow physicians to detect tumors in multiple organs at once without radiation exposure. In addition, he will cover liquid biopsy tests, including the Galleri® test. These innovative tools are reshaping early detection and providing a more proactive approach, especially for individuals at higher risk or with a family history of cancer.
Dr. Marsh will also explain how genetic screening for hereditary cancer syndromes, such as BRCA and Lynch syndrome, plays a vital role in determining a personalized prevention strategy. These insights can help identify high-risk individuals who may benefit from earlier or more frequent screenings, as well as preventive interventions.
Beyond screening, the webinar will examine how chronic inflammation, immune system dysfunction, and metabolic health contribute to cancer development. Dr. Marsh will outline strategies using biomarkers, precision nutrition, lifestyle changes, and immune profiling to lower cancer risk over time.
The American Cancer Society will also participate in the event, providing valuable information about additional support services and community resources available to individuals and families dealing with cancer prevention, diagnosis, or treatment.
“This webinar is a chance for individuals to take control of their health through data-driven, personalized care strategies,” said Dr. Jonathan Marsh. “We want people to feel empowered by the science—and motivated to act now, not later.”
